Ukodhiko Praises Gov Oborevwori for Finishing Projects from Previous Administrations

Member representing Isoko North/South Federal Constituency, Hon. Jonathan Ukodhiko, has commended Delta State Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori for his commitment towards completing projects inherited by his administration.
Hon. Ukodhiko gave the commendation on Tuesday after the inauguration of Delta State High Court Complex in Asaba by former Nigerian President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan and the presentation of 20 Toyota Prado Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs) to Judges in the State.
The House of Representatives member lauded Governor Oborevwori for his continuity policy of projects’ completion of past administrations in the State, saying, “through this exemplary act, the Governor not only sustains the legacies of his predecessors through completion of projects but further promotes continuity in governance.
“The Delta State High Court Complex, Asaba that was commissioned by former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan was a project initiated and started by past administration, and it was inherited, continued, and completed by the Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori’s administration. It is truly, quite remarkable and highly commendable.
“Yes, I think, it’s time for us especially in the public sector in Nigeria to have continuity policy in the execution of governments’ projects which will obviously end the spate of abandonment of government projects and see to the sustainable development of our states and nation
“Again, as we all know, government is a continuum. And continuity, either in governments’ projects or programmes not only see to unity and stability, but it engenders progress just as it accelerates the growth and sustainability of a state or nation.” Hon. Ukodhiko stated.
The Isoko Federal lawmaker commended and celebrated Governor Oborevwori for his development strides and for keeping faith with the implementation of his M.O.R.E. Agenda of meaningful development, opportunities for all, realistic reforms and enhanced peace and security.
“In talking about road infrastructure development in Delta State, there are numerous roads and bridges that are being rehabilitated and constructed. There is the Emevor-Orogun Road Phase One Road in Isoko North Local Government Area that is completed by the Oborevwori’s administration and will be inaugurated very soon.
“Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori in the last one year in office as Governor has undoubtedly being exceptional with governance in Delta State. The developmental projects by his administration have been quite phenomenal, across the state, and we in Isoko-nation are giving him our full support and cooperation in advancing the state.” Ukodhiko assured.
